Prescriber Folder Synchronization

To process an incoming PrescribeIT® transaction, the Prescriber Folder must be synchronized between Propel Rx and PrescribeIT®.

Prescriber synchronization uses two IDs that correspond to both the prescriber themselves and the location that they are prescribing from.

1. CPR ID - a unique PrescribeIT® identifier assigned to a health professional. This ID is the same regardless of the location the health professional is prescribing from.

2. Location ID - a unique PrescribeIT® identifier assigned to a clinic, office or location the health professional is prescribing from.

Synchronize a Prescriber Folder once you are made aware that the prescriber is PrescribeIT®-enabled.

Prescribers can be synchronized in two ways:

1. From an existing Prescriber Folder in Propel Rx

2. Creating a new Prescriber Folder from a Provider Registry Search
